The beginnings
With a long term goal of building a solid & successful business, Tim-Bur Constructions founder
Tim Grant began his career in the building trade at the age of 14 as a tradesman's assistant.
Provided with a solid grounding in the industry, under the guidance of
Merv Benson, Tim gained a wealth of experience working on a wide and varied range of projects
under the banner of Colonial Restorations. It was here that Tim's Handyman Service
was born and the foundations were laid for what would later become Tim-Bur Constructions.

Juggling week day work with study, Tim also managed a hardware store on weekends and gained a valuable
insight into how customer service was applied to retail trade. Over the years this experience
in retail customer service provided Tim with a basis to define a customer service philosophy
that exceeded the conventional industry expectation of clients.
Present Day
With 20 years in the industry, and with projects in that time ranging from horse
stables to large project housing developments in Laguna Keys, Tim's philosophy of
outstanding customer service is more than just a marketing slogan. He and his team are
people-oriented with strong family values. They realize that pleasing their customers
requires more than excellent building and renovation practices. It requires delivering
a project on time, on budget, and with outstanding workmanship.
Testament to this philosophy is found in the number of Tim-Bur's clients who've come
back again and again for their next project or renovation.
Licenced with the Building Services Authority Queensland in 1997, Tim-Bur Constructions
is also proud to be a member of the Housing Industry Association.
Currently Tim-Bur boasts a core workforce of more than 60 skilled individuals in South
East Queensland, providing services to clients ranging from individuals to major
Oil Companies.
